StarLite Lamp 1000w [FV-SL1000] The StarLitelamps emit light in an omni-directional pattern, so most of the light isreflected from the sides of the soft box, making the soft box more efficient.This results in a very soft light output, nearly free of hot spots. TheStarLite's revolutionary design features a double-envelope bulb. The actualhalogen light bulb is encased inside a clear shatter resistant quartz shell.This protects the bulb from being touched by human hands, which can transferoil to the bulb and cause damage to the bulb or potentially cause it toexplode. The quartz shell of the double envelope bulb can be touched with yourfingers and also acts as a scatter shield should the interior bulb fail.
