The new Smith-Victor line of DigiLight FL10 continuous lights utilize high output 55-watt spiral fluorescent lamps. Each lamp is the equivalent of 250 watts of tungsten light. The FL55 flicker-free fluorescent lamp provides true "daylight" color temperatures (5000 degrees Kelvin). Ideal for digital or film, the FL55 fluorescent produces virtually no heat and has a 10,000 hour lamp life.
The FL10 has a 10 inch reflector with a satin anodized interior with photgraphic black powder coated exterior. The UL listed ceramic socket is rated for 500 watts. It is equipped with a 5/8" aluminum stand adapter. Can also use the 26-Watt spiral fluorescent lamps. Angle of coverage is 30 degrees.
